Tonight’s throwback is about the Congolese soukous musician, Awilo Longomba‘s single tiled Coupé Bibamba released some years back.
Awilo Longomba, at first was a drummer in Viva la Musica, Stukas, Nouvelle Generation and Loketo, he left drumming for singing and released his first album titled Moto Pamba with help from Shimita, Ballou Canta, Dindo Yogo, Dally Kimoko, Sam Mangwana, Syran Mbenza and Rigo Star in 1995.
However, Coupé Bibamba is the third track from his second album which was released in April 4, 1998.
