The Movie Plot: The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Accordingly to the information we have at hand, the movie was released into cinemas in the UK on 7 July 2022, and in the US on 8 July 2022. The time between Marvel films hitting cinemas and then releasing at home have differed for past releases. For example, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness took 47 days to hit Disney+, whilst Eternals took a little longer at 70 days.
However, the date may depend on how well the film performs in theatres. Therefore, we expect Thor: Love and Thunder to be available for streaming on Monday, August 22 at the earliest., or in the middle of September 2022.
